Join us for our next KAL, a gorgeous poncho – absolutely this year’s hottest fashion accessory! The fabric has an interesting design with superior drape. Best of all, the simple construction makes it a garment that is flattering for everyone.
Knitters of all shapes and sizes modeled the poncho and were thrilled with the flattering silhouette. Most ponchos are available in the dreaded “one size fits all”, but for this KAL, there are two sizes to please everyone. Whether you are new to knitting garments or an experienced veteran, 14 Carat will bring you new skills as well as a stylish garment.
This poncho project is called “14 Carat” and is knit with HiKoo CoBaSi in the fingering weight. Using a lightweight yarn makes this a great garment for chilly evenings or for air conditioning in the summer.
Instructor/designer Michelle Hunter is SO good at teaching these Knit Along lessons that you will find your self learning with an amazing ease. The KAL is FREE. We carry 26 solid colors of CoBaSi and 5 different multi blended colors.
HERE is the link to more info about the April 2016 KAL. Scroll to the bottom of this post for a sneak preview sketch of the poncho design.
We will be shipping on Wednesdays — March 16, 23, 30. The KAL starts on Thursday, April 7. Choose your colors and order now.
