Here’s the Skinny Green Scarf, packaged into a kit. Skinny Green has some mohair and some cotton, a little bamboo and a little silk. It’s warm without being wool-warm. In fact, there’s not a drop of wool in these yarns.
The green is grassy and looks great with denim blues, or tans, or white, or purple, or orange. Loop this scarf like an artsy necklace or wind it tight up to your chin. There’s enough knitting here to keep you classy and warm.
We start with one skein of CoBaSi and one skein of Kid Seta mohair. We hand pick colors of both yarns that blend beautifully. Then we wind both yarns into one ball so you can start knitting as soon as you open the package.
Knit together as one strand, the yarns form a soft and pliable fabric for a wonderful scarf that is about 6″ x 54″. The pattern, a variation of our popular Element Wrap, is included in the kit. The design uses a US #9 needle (but I did the latest sample on US#10 needles and the world did not end!)
We package these kits into a gift kit that includes a gift bag, tissue, and organdy ribbon. It’s ready for you to give as a gift or keep, tucked in your daybag, ever ready for shopping in cold supermarkets or that evening convertible ride with your sweetie.
